Description

A delightful breakfast pizza featuring crispy English muffins topped with creamy Sawmill gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 English muffins
  • 1 cup Sawmill gravy
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the English muffins in half and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. Spread Sawmill gravy evenly over the cut muffins.
  4. Whisk the eggs with salt and pepper in a non-stick pan.
  5. Scramble the eggs gently over medium heat until just set and tender.
  6. Distribute the fluffy scrambled eggs evenly on top of the gravy-covered muffins.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled breakfast sausage over the eggs, followed by shredded cheese.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.

Notes

For a healthier option, use whole wheat English muffins or turkey sausage.
