- 16 oz (450g) fresh whole mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth.
- Trim the stems if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl and toss until coated.
- Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast for about 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Notes
Can be prepared a day in advance. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for optimal crispiness.
