- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, for topping
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Pickles, for topping
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2–3 jalapenos, minced
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least an hour or overnight for better flavor.
- Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, warm honey and minced jalapenos over low heat to make the glaze.
- Assemble sandwiches with fried chicken, jalapeno honey glaze, lettuce, tomato, and pickles on buns.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
