Description

Ingredients

  • 23 fresh red chilies, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Coat the marinated beef strips in cornstarch, ensuring even coverage.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.
  4. Carefully add the coated beef strips and let sear undisturbed for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir-fry the beef for another 2 minutes until evenly browned.
  6. Add minced garlic, ginger, and chopped chilies; stir quickly for one minute.
  7. Pour in sweet chili sauce, mixing to coat the beef thoroughly.
  8. Cook for an additional minute to allow the sauce to thicken.
  9. Plate the beef and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
