Description

Crispy Chilli Beef is a delightful dish featuring juicy strips of flank steak coated in a sweet and tangy chili sauce, offering a perfect balance of crunch and tenderness.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef: Thinly slice flank steak against the grain into strips about half an inch thick.
  2. Marinate: In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger. Let this cozy blend sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prep the coating: In a separate bowl, place cornstarch. After marinating, coat each piece of beef thoroughly.
  4. Heat the oil in a wok to high heat.
  5. Fry the beef in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir-fry bell peppers in the wok for about 2 minutes.
