- 12 slices of bacon
- 12 small mozzarella balls
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut each bacon slice in half.
- Wrap a half slice of bacon around each mozzarella ball, securing the end with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped poppers on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- While baking, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick and syrupy.
- Brush the poppers with the sweet maple glaze once out of the oven and serve hot.
Notes
You can prepare the poppers ahead of time and refrigerate them before baking. Use an air fryer for quicker cooking time.
