Description

A comforting and creamy chicken bake featuring fresh spinach, earthy mushrooms, and gooey cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the garlic and mushrooms in a large skillet over medium heat with olive oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the spinach and sauté until wilted.
  4. Combine the sautéed mixture in a baking dish, placing the chicken breasts on top.
  5. Pour the heavy cream over the chicken, sprinkle with cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the cheese is golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can prep the sautéed mixture a day in advance for easier cooking. Serve with rice, crusty bread, or garlic mashed potatoes.
