Description

A luscious cream cheese dessert infused with zesty lemon and topped with a vibrant blueberry compote, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together using an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Add the lemon juice and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold one-third of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until incorporated.
  5. Carefully fold in the remaining whipped cream until no white streaks remain.
  6. Pour the mixture into your serving dish or divide among individual cups and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  7. Combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat and cook until the blueberries burst and thicken slightly.
  8. Cool the blueberry mixture before spooning it over the chilled cream cheese dessert.

Notes

This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. For a twist, try adding lemon zest or other fruits for topping.
