Description

Delightful bite-sized treats featuring a crispy shell filled with creamy crab and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked imitation crab meat, finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional topping: garlic butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Flatten each biscuit and place about a tablespoon of filling in the center.
  3. Fold the edges up to enclose the filling, pinch to seal, and flip seam-side down.
  4. Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
  5. Fry bombs in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with garlic butter or sweet chili sauce.

Notes

These can be made ahead of time; flavors deepen when refrigerated overnight. Avoid overcrowding in the fryer.
