Description

Crispy chicken wonton tacos filled with savory chicken, fresh vegetables, and zesty lime, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • Bell peppers, diced
  • Onion, diced
  • Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Lime juice, to taste
  • Oil, for frying
  • Salsa, for topping
  • Avocado, for topping
  • Sour cream, for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Filling: Heat a tablespoon of oil in your skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, seasoning it with ground coriander, cumin, and garlic powder. Sauté until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Mix in Veggies: In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed chicken with diced bell peppers, onions, and chopped cilantro. Squeeze lime juice for flavor and mix well.
  3. Assemble the Tacos: Place about a tablespoon of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold into a taco shape, and pinch to secure.
  4. Fry the Tacos: Heat oil over medium-high heat. Carefully place the tacos in the oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
