- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 soft brioche or ciabatta buns
- Fresh lettuce
- 1 ripe tomato, sliced
- Dill pickles, to taste
- 4 slices crispy bacon
- 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and any additional spices. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on one side until seared, then flip and check the internal temperature, aiming for 165°F (75°C).
- Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Spread creamy sauce on both sides of the buns. Assemble the sandwich with the chicken, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon.
- Press down gently, slice diagonally, and serve with fries or a fresh salad.
Notes
You can marinate chicken the night before for enhanced flavor. Feel free to customize toppings to your liking.
