Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Mix together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the flour and salt, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the brewed espresso and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar, heavy cream, the remaining vanilla extract, and brewed espresso for the frosting.
- Spread the café latte frosting evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Slice and serve.
