Description

Decadent Brownie Bottom Bars featuring a rich brownie base and creamy layers, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine melted butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl, stirring until glossy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
  4. Add the vanilla extract to the butter-sugar blend.
  5. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until incorporated.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  8. Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
