Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Combine melted butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl, stirring until glossy.
- Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
- Add the vanilla extract to the butter-sugar blend.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until incorporated.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
