Description

A delightful dish combining the sweetness of peaches with the rich flavor of salmon, glazed with bourbon and honey for a perfect summer meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Salmon Fillets
  • 1 Cup Peach Slices
  • 1/4 Cup Bourbon
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Generously season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides to enhance their natural flavors.
  2. In a non-stick pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  3. Gently add the seasoned salmon fillets to the pan, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. After flipping, add in the peach slices and sauté briefly until they soften.
  5. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the bourbon, honey, and soy sauce.
  6. Pour the glaze over the salmon and peaches, letting it cascade and envelop them in flavor.
  7. Reduce the heat, allowing the dish to simmer gently, thickening the sauce.
  8. To serve, plate the salmon fillets and drizzle the sauce over the top, adding the sautéed peaches.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for up to an hour before cooking. Use fresh, ripe peaches for the best taste.
