Description

A simple yet delicious BLT sandwich featuring crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and creamy mayonnaise on toasted bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • 2 leaves of crisp romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 1 ripe tomato, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 slices of white or whole-grain bread

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Toast your bread slices until golden brown.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer lettuce, followed by tomato slices and crispy bacon on one slice.
  5. Cap it off with the other slice of bread, mayo side down.
  6. Cut in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For a unique twist, try flavored mayo or add slices of avocado.
