Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter and sprinkle brown sugar in the bottom.
- Arrange banana slices in a single layer over the brown sugar.
- Mix together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, then mix in vanilla until smooth.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter over the bananas and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before flipping onto a serving plate.
