Description

Delight in these soft, chewy banana oatmeal cookies, naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and perfect for various occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • ½ cup nuts or dried fruit (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix in the oats, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until thoroughly combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit if desired.
  5. Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added sweetness and flavor, use ripe bananas. You can refrigerate the dough overnight for fresh cookies whenever cravings strike!
