- 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mix the mashed bananas, sour cream, and softened butter in a mixing bowl. Stir in the sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Incorporate the flour, baking soda, and salt gently into the mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts without deflating the batter.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Make the frosting by mixing together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Frost the cooled brownies and slice them into squares.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. For variety, substitute walnuts with chocolate chips or use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
