Description

A moist and fluffy banana cake made effortlessly in an air fryer, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 80ml vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the mashed bananas, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the dry ingredients gradually into the banana mixture, folding gently with a spatula.
  4. Grease a cake pan suitable for the air fryer and pour in the batter, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F), then place the cake pan inside and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

Banana cake improves in flavor after a day. For more texture, feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips.
